CAR WORK GENERALLY.
Meeting held in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s Room 12.2.37.

P.III. (1) FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} Repeat test on P.III overdrive at more moderate average speeds, i.e. as near the speeds as G.R. previously carried out consumption tests.

(2) GR.{George Ratcliffe} Weaker jets with high lift pump to be fitted to 32-EX.

Float Chamber with altered lever ratio to go on 37-EX.

Confirm what consumption.

(3) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} Suction ignition control for the P.III engine to improve consumption.

(4) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} to prepare a set of R.R. coiled valve springs and send out to 35-EX.

(5) Std. to investigate the cost of the sheet alum. used on the P.III bonnet.

(6) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} to do some flat out starts on the half shafts.

(7) Ask GRH. what he thinks of simplified engine sideguards. Std.

(8) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} to get a report out on noisy ball races.

(9) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} to clear up relief valve oil pump noise as soon as cold chamber available.

(10) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} to report on reduced balance weights.

(11) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} to find out what we can do about case-hardened blade rods.

(12) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} An A.C. by-pass filter should be fitted to Continental P.III.
