MATT FINISHED RADIATOR SHUTTERS.

Referring back to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}5/M19.6.30. we have instructed dull staybright radiator shutters for 26-EX; (the radiator will be in Staybright).

It may be remembered that in April, Sales decided to stop producing cars with matt finished shutters. The decision we believe was arrived at because of the dirty appearance of these after some considerable use. They become tarnished, and any oil or paraffin which may be spilt on them leaves a distinct dirty looking patch. The original matt finished shutters were in nickel, and we find that they tarnish less quickly than matt staybright.

As nickel shutters are not now in production we shall fit staybright to 26-EX unless we hear to the contrary.
