BRAKE SQUEAKING

Herewith we send N.sch.3140 shewing the locomotive, type brake for the front axle in accordance with R's suggestion.

He considers that we should only make one shoe at the moment as we may find that we do not like the scheme. If we do decide to hinge the other shoe it will be the same as this one but a change will have to be made in the lubricating connection to the side and cross steering lever ball ends.
