X.2.210 To R. {Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T14.1.21. X.427. - Z.R. 6 R. {Sir Henry Royce} BOSCH MAGNETO. X.430. X.2375. (6) The lowest price that Messrs. North will accept for present Watford magnetos is £12.0.0 delivered at our works. Hence the price of the Z.R.6 Bosch magneto delivered at our works would be rather less than this figure. X.3515. (7) We are not ourselves in favour of standardising the Bosch magneto, but feel that we ought to put this information before you. We have great hopes of the new B.T.H. moving type magneto, of which we are due to receive samples very shortly now, being at least as good if not better than the R. {Sir Henry Royce} Bosch Z.R.6. X.4210. (8) X.4181. There are also possibilities in the improved types of Watford magneto which we are shortly expecting and also in a Conner magneto of which we have a sample. (9) An instruction as to what direction to concentrate upon which would be helpful to the Expl. Dept. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} R.R. 253A /100 (T) (18.11.20) O. {Mr Oldham} 2847 | ||
