4) The arithmetic is -

(a) Probable total liability -
Lowest £100,000
Highest £250,000

(b) Net cost of fitting styling strip in cases of complaint. Say 4000 in 1966. 8 p.w.
£4,000 p.a.

(c) Sales, as improvement or face-lift. Say 800, at £25 retail p.a.
£20,000 p.a.

We therefore turn a considerable financial loss into a profit. I hope nobody will feel like stopping this experiment.
