BENTLEY CHASSIS.
ROLLED EYES FOR ROAD SPRINGS.
---------------------------

Further to my memo BY.1/W.26.1.37. pointing out that we can save 10/- per spring, £2. 0. 0. per set, by the use of rolled eyes, and we have held up work on certain spring plates. We think that we have ample evidence in other chassis that we can adopt rolled eyes without running the usual test.

We would like to have a decision on this issue, one way or the other quickly.
