WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town. CHICHESTER. 17. Mar. 1932. Messrs Park Ward & Co. Ltd. 473 High Rd. WILLESDEN. N. W. 10. Dear Sirs, 25HP. ENCLOSED DRIVE LIMOUSINE. WIDE FRAME EXPERIMENT. We are sending you herewith a print of N. sch. 3414., shewing the spare wheel carrier bracket on the offside. We hope this will enable you to complete your body. We suggest that on this car we have no fixing between the body and the frame forward of the first body bracket. This bracket we learn is 27.500" aft of the dash, and not 25.500" as on N. sch. 3425. Sales will settle the details of the cloth and headlinings. With regard to the brake differentials Derby say these only protrude .050 above the top of the frame. We suggest that they be ignored. We hope to hear from you on Monday that we can send a lorry to collect the body on Wednesday next at 5 p.m. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS ROYCE LTD. (EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}) HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Shall you do the mounting during the Easter holiday? I will come up when you start to mount the body.
