Your Ref Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.17/JH. 20th October, 1936. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, Derby. For the Attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West. Dear Mr. West, I was sorry to note from your letter of the 15th instant that one of the special aero plugs broke down in the mica insulation of the screened extension tube. However, this has been rectified immediately and the plug been despatched to you forthwith. I want to tell you that I am leaving here tomorrow on a trip to the United States, but this need not hold up our experimental work with you at all, as our Mr. Corbin is completely familiar with your requirements and with the correspondence that has taken place between us. Till I get back, therefore, I shall be glad if when writing us you would mark your letters for the attention of Mr. Corbin. I know that in that way they will receive immediate attention. He will be very interested to hear the results of your tests on both the aero plug and Bentley plug samples that you have now had. Assuring you of our co-operation, I remain, Yours faithfully, THE AC-SPHINX SPARKING PLUG CO., LTD., F.{Mr Friese} STOCKBRIDGE Managing Director [Sticker Text] MOTOR EXHIBITION CARS & BOATS OCT 15-24 OLYMPIA OUR STAND No. 419 GALLERY [Footer Text] AC Air Cleaners - AC Clocks - AC Fuel Pumps - AC Oil Filters - AC Oil Gauges - AC Plugs - AC Speedometers - AC Windscreen Wipers. | ||
