not being powerful enough to return the servo leakage
when operated slowly. To obtain satisfactory results
at slow speeds the friction loads had to be reduced to
'T' arm 14 lbs. and swinging arm 20 lbs. These loads
under normal braking effects decrease the clank, and without
the brake is released quickly is satisfactory. The snag
is that the two friction loads must be kept constant.

To quieten the brake release generally, rubber
stops should be fitted to the rear brake levers, foot brake pedal
and front equalizing shaft stop.
