To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} X200a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KW.4.3.36. 6-B-IV. During the various runs I have had on this car I have noticed the following faults :- (1) Steering column requires raising. (2) Radiator shutters appear to stick open as the water temperature runs at about 45°C. (3) The idling seems very unsatisfactory and there is too much engine movement. (4) The rev. counter is very noisy. (5) The controls appear to be affected by the engine movement. (6) A mirror should be fitted to the top of the windscreen: the existing one is broken and is no good. (7) The oil pump appears to be noisy. (8) There is a nasty boom both on forward and the over-run at 60 m.p.h., which seems to persist whatever exhaust system is fitted to the car. (9) The backing light is inclined to stick on.
