The price of the Egg-shell enamel would not be much more than the Black enamel we now use for springs and it would go considerably further.

The spraying of the enamelneccessitates a proper fume cupboard and fan, as if this is not available the operator soon becomes upset by the spray. Many parts are, however, done more quickly and better by brush.
