Crankshafts made by Wyman & Gordon.

I confirm my note Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}13/NJ8418, of 8th inst. and with further reference to Mr.Nadin's note Na{Mr Nadin}3/K23318, of 23rd ult. I enclose herewith copy of a report drawn up by the A.I.D. with reference to crankshaft forgings made by Wyman & Gordon in the U.S.A.

I am informed by Mr.Atkinson that out of 500 crankshafts supplied by these people 68% have proved defective.
