The following points have been noted for criticism on E.A.C. (1) EAC. that we are now trying is to be considered a standard for the future, and any alterations from the standard which we are now trying will come before CJ. and other officials in the usual way on the standardisation sheet. It is understood that this car we are trying now is exactly what will be tested for 10,000 miles. (2) R2/M29.11.24. mentions that R.{Sir Henry Royce} is redesigning the exhaust system. Presumably this will be tested later for 10,000 miles, though R.{Sir Henry Royce} suggests that it will be suitable for 'V' series. (3) Does engine keep reasonably cool climbing on hills or running on low gears? (4) Is the engine good in appearance, simplicity and are the parts under the bonnet, etc. easy to get at? (5) Is there any way of cleaning the Autovac? (6) Is there any way of filling the Autovac? (7) Is the gearing of the steering satisfactory? (8) Is the steering column satisfactorily supported to prevent vibrations at 10 m.p.h. etc? Handwritten Content: Top of page: X8770 Top right corner: Meeds Argyle 2.4.25.
