LARGER STEERING WHEEL. X7630

You will recollect in the recent discussion we had at Conduit Street, we were told by Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} that 14-EX (the car which was with Mr. Royce at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence) had a steering wheel with a larger diameter than standard.

On the strength of this we had intended to push for an increased diameter steering wheel. We found however on examination that this wheel was of standard dimensions. We are therefore rather handicapped as we know that Mr. Royce will not agree to us pushing the dia. up an inch with the standard thickness of rim, and this is the only thing we can do without a design from WW.

Temporarily therefore, the matter is in abeyance until DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} has time to devote to giving us a design.
