Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 29th inst, and note that you have dismantled Clutch from your Bentley Chassis which has been running under endurance conditions, and that you find that the pressure plate lugs have worn into the cover by approximately 1/32"; we note that you would like to discuss this matter fully with us, the writer therefore proposes to visit your Works on Tuesday morning next, at approximately 11.30.a.m, accompanied by our Mr Armitage, and we trust that the time suggested will be convenient to your good selves. We note that you refer to the clutch as type 10.A3; we are wondering whether this is a typographical error, and that it is really an 11" Clutch with which we are concerned. Yours faithfully, BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED. C. T. Barker H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} T. Barker. | ||
