ORIGINAL TO FH } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} SECRET. R2/M29.4.24. Copy to - RG.{Mr Rowledge} " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. SERVO. 19910 19940 In the last servo design (18/4/24) I notice the three springs are far out. They would be better near the centre. If there is any increased oil risk through the holes passing through the plates we might drop the spring into a hole at one side and on to a short pin on the other. Anyway there must be no risk of these little details preventing the plates coming together as appears on Lec. 1869. (end of spring jamming in hole.) R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
