Dear Mr. Robotham,

The attached correspondence has been handed to me regarding the Rocker Bushes which we are supplying for Bentley cars. My reason for writing to you, is that I think you can handle this situation very much better than we can.

It is obvious to me that the Department concerned are not familiar with split bushes and that they have been measured with a micrometer, and if not, bushes of this description are not round.

These thin wall bushes are flexible and are only made concentric by pushing into the housing.

Regarding the burrs; I can see nothing which should cause failure in this product. If we have to put a lot of hand work into these products, then the object of supplying something which will do the job at a cheap price will be lost. Ofcourse, we are only too pleased to make anything you require and to any limit, but the price will be raised accordingly.

I am, in addition, enclosing the actual bushes the subject of this correspondence and shall
