Examining new weights and studs for a bumper bar and questioning the lack of a locking mechanism.

We have examined the new weights and studs and nuts for the bumper bar of 6.B.IV. The weights appear to be intended to be retained on the studs by means of the chromium plated caps. We can see no means of locking these on the studs. We should like your observations, & assurance that the weights will not come adrift on the road, before fitting same. ------------ GWH{George W.
