Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Steadman. We regret the delay in replying to your letter of May 3rd. The scheme shown on your Drawing No. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 369 is quite satisfactory and if this arrangement is adopted, we have pleasure in quoting you as follows: - Supplying Bellows Element, comprising - externally screwed bottom plate, internally screwed top plate and bellows. Charging this bellows unit and assembling with the valve, valve spindle, lock nut and distance piece supplied by you. Setting the valve to commence opening at 78°C ± 1°C. and testing to ensure that the valve lift is at least .3125" at 89°C. In lots of 200...........7/6d each. We trust that you will consider this price reasonable, and thank you for the concession which you have made which very much simplifies manufacture. We very much regret the delay in delivery the two thermostats, BGA. 3357A, due to the fact that these were not actually in production. We have made up these two instruments | ||
