KNURLED SHAFTS - B.V. FRONT SHOCK DAMPER.

Since the alteration to the dias. of the holes in Rocking Lever FB.4725 and End Lever FB.4334, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale} reports that no assembly difficulty will arise. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has agreed that the serrations on the Shaft FB.4726 should be hobbed, providing suitable pitch hobs can be obtained. This may mean a slight alteration to the pitch of the serrations. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will receive this information as soon as possible. The structure and hardness of the material of the Rocking Levers FB.4725 must be kept uniform.

Should no further comments be received the Planning and Tool Drawing Office will carry on to the above instructions.
