I shall be glad if you will go on with the investigations of the Rotax dynamo.

Assuming that it is a four-pole machine of the usual type, that is, alternate north and south poles, I cannot see how it can be wound to work with two brushes only with 28 segments. I should disconnect the armature and find out what is the scheme of the winding, but I should not purchase another machine, as I should expect you would be able to replace the wires in the commutator very quickly.

Regarding the resistance of the field circuit, one certainly feels that you ought to be able to make this more like the American Bosch machine in its resistance.
