DERBY.

Dear Mr.Robotham,

Many thanks for your letter of September 20th and enclosure.

With reference to our telephone conversation last night, I am communicating immediately with the Factory asking them to send you the six Tyres as soon as possible, and I confirm that I told you we should be only too pleased to co-operate with you in any way we possibly can over this question of tyre noise on the new Chassis.

Personally, I believe you will find that our latest tyre will be extraordinarily silent, even under the conditions you describe.

I need hardly say that I should be most pleased to come to Derby at any time, and I feel sure Dr.Young would also, if you would care for us to do so, and if we could be of any help to you on this matter. Please do not hesitate to let me know how soon you would like me to come and discuss this question.

I should be most grateful if you could advise me, as soon as you have had a chance of trying the Tyres, exactly what you think of them in all respects.
