Dear Sir,
In reply to yours of the 11th inst. ref.S1., we are pleased to note that you are now in a position to submit a proposed instrument board for our approval.
We agree with your suggestion that one of your engineers should visit us and we think next Monday 16th inst. would be most suitable.
With regard to the ammeter and petrol gauge, we should like the former to be of the universal type used, namely polarized moving iron such as supplied to other high class cars, and in respect to the latter perhaps you will be good enough to quote for either the standard instrument or the instrument to our specification.
We think it advisable for the time being to include in your specification the standard A.T. Speedometer as at present used on the R.R. 20/25.HP. chassis.
We should appreciate a line from you informing us as what time your representative will arrive.
Yours Faithfully,
FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
