Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. W/S - Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.8.12.37. PARK WARD ENCLOSED LIMOUSINE. We have a note from Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} stating that the enclosed Limousine, which was originally laid down for 29.G.VI, is now available and has been allotted to No.1 production chassis. No 1 production chassis at the moment does not exist, and is not likely to be ready for the body for six weeks, owing to delay in frame deliveries. 29.G.VI, however, is ready for the body to be mounted. The logical thing to do is to put the available body on the available chassis, and we are proposing to do this forthwith so that we can get another useful up-to-date car running as quickly as possible. When completed this car would not necessarily be regarded as an experimental chassis if it were urgently required for the other purpose. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
