BENTLEY BUMPER BAR.

With regard to the fitting of a Wilmot Breeden stabilising Bumper to existing Bentley cars, we attach herewith one print shewing the dimensions and centres of the Bumper and one other print to N.Scheme 4236 shewing the method of fitment. There is, however, one item shewn on N.Sch.4236, which is not on the present Wilmot Breeden bumper, and that is the flanged bush FB1656. The bush supplied at present with the Wilmot Breeden Bumper is a plain one, and it necessitates the fitting of a round distance piece between the dumb iron and the bush. Attached drawing Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1626 shews both bushes and distance piece.

It will be found necessary to cut the front apron side trays slightly where it covers the dumb iron to fit the Bumper.
