re Power at Road Wheels - SS{S. Smith}

With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL2/MJ22.8.29 we should be glad to know -

1. Were the SS{S. Smith} Experimental Cars the same compression ratio as the present production.

2. Were they fitted with the present standard silencer.

3. Can 19 and 22-EX, the model cars, be put on the Dynamometer so that we can test the HP.

We are impelled to bring these points forward as we are unable to obtain the power shewn on your chart on Production Chassis. There is no doubt that Production Chassis are comparable with the SS{S. Smith} Model as far as road performance is concerned.
