Complaint case.
Sir Stanley White. B.30-BL.

The above owner at the time of taking delivery of his car last Autumn complained very bitterly of synchromesh rattle when starting away and correspondence took place on the matter, Sir Stanley finally deciding that he would wait until he had seen the effect of the modification which you were going to make, and did subsequently make to Mr. Fedden's car, which modification of course, has now been standard for a long time.

We do not want to revive the matter with owner although it is a fact that in Jan. last when Hb.{C. E. Harcombe} met him by chance he did say that a complete cure had not been made on Fedden's car.

We believe you are in pretty frequent contact with Mr. Fedden and it may be, for all we know, you occasionally see Sir Stanley. Could you ask Fedden whether Sir Stanley is content to leave his car as it is, or whether you are to be given an opportunity of making the modification which you made for Fedden.
