BATTERY IGNITION - TUNGSTEN POINTS. Y2894

I am still extremely anxious to hear of good improvement in the life of the contact points on the battery ignition.

It has occurred to me that we might get some help from the technical experts on magneto work, say at B.T.H., Watfords, or Dr. Bairstow of the Air Ministry.

If we do not soon make some progress I should think this course must be followed, but it should be remembered that you have many suggestions and features to report upon: the great trouble seems to be getting the parts to experiment with, but as they generally are simple and can be quickly made I cannot understand why this subject does not get along more quickly.
