- 4 - The door joints were very fine and were flush. 25 H.P. R.R. - Park Ward - Standardised Saloon - Sunshine Roof. This car was very bad for wind noises above 30 m.p.h. (a) The sunshine roof was taped at the leading edge thus:- TAPE when 50% of the roar disappeared. (b) The taping of the back edge of the roof made a still further improvement, but nothing was perceived after taping the sides. We could hear no noise which we could locate as coming from any of the door shuts, but noise was still coming from the screen and pillars. (c) The water gathers along the roof sides at the front ends where moulded over with plasticine, but no change was perceived. (d) The edges of the glass channels at the top and sides of the screen were then taped thus:- TAPE. | ||
