BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /3527 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG21.6.23. STANDARDISARION OF OIL LEVEL INDICATOR. Referring to your BJ15/H6.6.23. We attach a note from Cost Dept. in which they state that the £248 represents material and part labour on Oil Tank and fittings which will be left off the cars with the new scheme. We have asked BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to instruct the Works to work hand to mouth on these parts until the new Indicator is available. We anticipate that most of the material will be used up before the new Level Indicator would be ready. At the present time there are several slight modifications being made to the Indicator.
