DIPPING HEADLAMPS.
-------------------

A standardisation sheet was issued 18.10.28. No. X4555 for the application of the scheme for dipping headlights which was fitted on the Continental Phantom, to our standard chassis. As, however, the position of the lamps on the Continental Phantom was different from the position on a standard car, the schemes as they stand are not suitable.

Apparently dipping headlights are required, and this is the only scheme which is available, and therefore the Experimental wish to get the sheet signed and the matter settled. We on our part cannot pass the sheet along until we have got a scheme on the lines suggested which covers experimental requirements.

Will you kindly let us have a scheme. We shall then be able to detail the parts and send them through the usual routine to find :-
(a) Cost.
(b) Instruct tool requirements.
(c) Tell Sales when the parts will be available and be brought in.
