Dear Sir, I have taken out several patents for an improved shock absorber of a hydraulic type and am certain that they are going to represent a big advance on those at present in use. If you would be interested in seeing them I would have much pleasure in demonstrating them to you at any time suitable to you, and could go up to Derby if an appointment were arranged.
