COPY. COPY. X582 To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} R4/P 14.11.13. With reference to Mr. Spinney's suggestion that we use more upright position of the side levers, he suggests that for "B" steering we use "C" lever, and for "C" steering "D" lever. Will you see if there is any objection to this on the cars, perhaps by referring to the Repair Dept., otherwise I think it is good. In enclosed cars especially of the position of the brake lever should not go any further than is absolutely necessary. R.{Sir Henry Royce} [Faint text/watermark: 1904 MADE AT CROXLEY] | ||
