BENTLEY 50. RADIATOR YOKE.

The method of attaching the wing tie bar to the yoke by spot welding the block inside shown on PD.146 was introduced at the request of Experimental Department to reduce cost, and it is desired to try it on the first one to see how it stands up.

We think there may be objections to it on account of making the block and also on the grounds of durability. PD.159 shews the original method of attaching the block, and we think should be filed for reference in case there should be any trouble with the scheme shewn on PD.146 from any cause.
