| - 2 - the car. This, in turn, would not act as an increased low temperature treatment, and if it should happen that Mr. Geoffrey Smith is a man who does not drive all-out regularly then the temperature of his piston would be considerably lower, and the effect of the temperature in producing a heat treatment effect as suggested above would be very considerably reduced. At the moment we can summarise the subject by saying we are entirely at a loss for an explanation of the failure of the piston in Mr. Geoffrey Smith's car, but we are still pursuing the subject, as it is obviously of the utmost importance that we should find an explanation.
