RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} (Tried) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}1/AD2.6.38. Will you please have the following jobs carried out on Peregrine unit which is now being dismantled for camshaft and cylinder head modifications :- (1) Parts to V.1384/5/6 to be made and fitted to existing oil pump in order to reduce pump delivery. (2) Very bad oil leak from rear end of engine, possibly oil passing rear bearing in front of flywheel. (3) Corks which we have inserted in water holes in cylinder head to be replaced by metal plugs. (4) Shaft from dynamo pinion to water pump running badly out of truth. (5) Steel rocker pedestals to be fitted in place of aluminium pedestals. (6) 105° camshaft fitted as per Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ml/AT31.5.32 and sketch Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}633. (7) Cylinder head machined beneath the plug as per our conversation with you yesterday. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} | ||
