-2- (6) The whole question of chromium plating the bores, and the results obtained on running do not yet appear to have passed the experimental stage; although many thousands of miles have been run by cars fitted with cylinders plated in the bores. I would not anticipate any difficulty in producing chromium plated bores on one of our car engines, should you wish to try this scheme out here, but I consider it essential that a properly designed anode jig be constructed first.
