Vent here if you wish. Alternative vent. Or the vent might be through here. Smooth curved surface. Not to scale: (Shews .6 lift.) No hole for dirt. For economy in height, length of bore & cleanliness, this cap fits on the outside of the boss. 2 or 3 small holes. Connected without restriction to venturi or under throttle. The pot in this design is same size as valve. It cannot lift until the depression gets into the upper chamber. I think the depression should be taken from the venturi or from above the restriction - i.e. just under throttle. The drawing you sent had some good features but I think this is simpler and more robust. | ||
