FAN - SECTION 5220. Please receive herewith two blueprints of each of the following :- S.CD.585 Modified Oil Retainer for Fan Spindle. Ex.S.718 Fan Spindle - 1 off. Ex.S.719 End Cover - Rear - 1 off. The following part will also be required :- K.4846 .125 dia. Taper Pin - 2 off. The following parts are not required :- EB.3775 Fan Spindle 1 off. EW.1773 End Cover - Rear. 1 off. EW.1774 Felt Packing - Fan Spindle. 1 off. The above is as verbally requested by BY, to provide an "Acme" thread on the fan spindle, to serve as an oil retainer, instead of the felt packing at present in use for a grease seal.
