Mr.Summers requested that any further correspondence with regard to this car should be done through his brother, as referred to in the previous correspondence, and he agreed that before the car left here for Messrs.Atcherley, his brother would come to the Works and go out in the car and satisfy himself that it was satisfactory. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} P.S. I did not leave Mr.Summers until he himself felt that every point had been thoroughly dealt with. His final statement was "not satisfied unless given increasing power up to 3,000 revs." If the Administration do not agree to any alteration to standard in this respect, I can only recommend to have the car back and do all we can, then tell him it is the best we can do, and be prepared to take back the car from him if he is not satisfied.
