We have now obtained from the Westinghouse Brake & Saxby Signal Co. a quotation for a Rectifier Set as referred to in our EFC2/AM.16.12.29. except that it was thought more suitable to enquire the price of the next size smaller than the one therein referred to. The quotation reads as follows :- "For our Westinghouse Metal Rectifier Set style RP-10-F to give an output of 12/14 volts 6 amps. from 200 volts 50 cycles single phase A.C. the sum of, THIRTEEN POUNDS. We are sending with PN{Mr Northey}'s copy of this note a copy of the manufacturers brochure D.P.11. for his information. In accordance with your RL/M16.12.29.we propose in due course and subject to your approval to place an order for one of these sets. It would be a great convenience here to be able to charge a battery in position on a car thus saving work of two removals and replacements. EFC. | ||
