25.7.41, and the accompanying letter from Messrs. Dunlops, with reference to the jacks requested in our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}5/SW.18.7.41.

It is essential for us to have jacks, and though we appreciate the problem of supplies, we might suggest obtaining a similar jack from other makers, failing that, the jack No.35 described in the communication from Messrs. Dunlops would suit our purpose if they can be supplied in a reasonable time.
