the test. It will be seen that the Front Springs were one of the weakest parts but as we so very rarely have a front spring go on the chassis, it goes to shew that our test with the 2" bumps is very severe.

The point we should like to bring to your notice is the fact that we have broken another side member; a similar failure occurred on the last bump test. They have both gone in the same place i.e. through the bolt holes which hold the radiator bracket. We are sending to you a section of the broken frame also the broken steering rocking lever. Attached herewith is a report from Mr. Hall on the material of these two parts.
