for a short while and they appear to be at least as good as platinum.

Regarding other materials such as Tantalum and Nickel; Tantalum we have not so far been able to obtain but are making further enquiries. We have specimens of Nickel but have been informed that nickel is not suitable as it is quite easily oxidisable. It may be worth while, however, to make up several chassis rotors of such different materials as we can, and carry out tests on these.

We will ask Mr. Day to design a rotor in which flat pieces of these materials are secured in the way mentioned in the last paragraph of E3/G15.10.19.
