P.2. Re EXTRA-WIRING.

We thank you for Ry/Cgh{W Clough}5/C5.7.30. and print of D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} sch. 417.

(1) We agree to the headlamp wires being continuous.

(2) We do not agree to the side lamp wires being made continuous owing to the difficulty of removing the wings. We wish the adaptor on the outside of the frame to be retained

(3) We think that the centre lamp bracket and the copper tube for the wire should be supplied as an extra when a centre lamp is ordered. The latest centre lamp bracket should have the copper tube inside the bracket.

(4) We do not like leaving a length of spare wire for the centre lamp or extra headlamps on the front horns. We would prefer a small disconnecting box as indicated on the print, and as used at the foot of the column of P.1. for the klaxon wire.

(5) We do not like a permanent disconnecting box in the sloping floor. We would prefer it to be on the face of the dash as indicated on the print. Can it be small and only have 3 connections thus -

To headlamp.
To centre lamp or extra headlamp.

Referring to CX{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/KW10.7.30. re the above, we would mention that it is absolutely impossible to thread extra cables through the conduits after the wiring has been completed, even if the conduits were increased in size.

By our proposals we wish to give away only that which is necessary to make what we consider the wiring a R.R. job :-
(a) The extra wire.
(b) A small disconnecting box in the front horn.
(c) A disconnecting box on the face of the dash.
