I attach herewith copy of letter I have just received re the special compressed No.9.Material (without wire inter-woven) I sent you some of this material for testing and your last reply was 'it had not been tested out, and that you were satisfied with our present standard Ferodo.' I would like to point out however that Ferodo as now supplied is different from the pre-War product, being far more difficult to ~~dull~~ drill and handle generally. This we have pressed home to Messrs Frood, and I think the letter attached is the result of my very definite and decided remarks re the standard Ferodo. BY.{R.W.
