E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives, Esq.
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Hives,

Would it be possible for you to make an appointment for me to see you on Tuesday? If so, I would like to make the same arrangement as the last time I came up, which was to meet you at the Hotel in Derby for lunch, if you are free to join me, which I very much hope you will be able to do.

If this date is convenient, would you be good enough to wire me on receipt of this letter. Sorry to give you such short notice, but the matter is rather important.

Failing Tuesday, Thursday or Friday would be suitable.

Yours sincerely,
