X3014b S E C R E T. ----------- To EY. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to CJ. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E3/M9.12.24. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. RE CONVERSION CHASSIS. X.9664. X.3014b. X.8730. ----------------------------------------------- In reply to your telegram concerning the Lucas dynamo and switchbox on the above, we shall endeavour to use these so as to reduce as much as possible the cost of the changeover. If the Lucas dynamo does not exceed the EAC. in length we see no reason why it cannot be held on the EAC. engine with a suitable adaption piece on the cradle. We should ask for the Lucas machine to be so altered that the brush cover could be pulled off in a similar manner to EAC.3. chassis for the purpose of inspecting the brushes with the machine running.
