+4678 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG. Expl: Dept: 29th. Dec. 1927. Mrs. Crown, 220, Kingston Rd., Ilford, Essex. Dear Madam, We thank you for your letter of the 27th. inst. Your papers were sent to our London Office before Christmas. We regret the delay. We have given the matter careful consideration and while we are of the opinion that the device would be of considerable use in a military vehicle that is specifically built to negotiate soft ground, for our purpose, where the owner is able to equip himself with chains for any exceptional conditions, the additional complication is hardly justifiable. Thank you for giving us the opportunity of examining this invention. Yours faithfully, | ||
