20 HP. CAR FOR 10,000 MILES TEST. X5840a V5770

The 20 HP. car which is going to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence prior to running 10,000 miles, will call at Conduit Street about midday tomorrow.

The following new parts are fitted to this car :-

1. Frame ties have been strengthened.
2. New type steering column and lower geared steering.
3. Shorter steering column and pedals further forward.
4. Exhaust cutout.
5. Strengthened front axle and pivots.
6. Lemoine front road springs.
7 1/2 Hydraulic shock absorbers on the front.
8. Body mounted on subframe.
9. Undershields with felt strips.
10. Connecting rods with loose big end bushes.
11. Steel cam wheel in place of phosphor bronze wheel.
12. Main bearings with steel shells.
13. Well base wheels and tyres.
14. Modified carburetter with aluminium air valve.
